time to pick your date! yay!

Woohoo! I am so excited that we are making everything official for your senior photos with me - it is going to be an absolute blast! In the following information you will see my current availability (I will update this webpage each time a date is booked from another client), information about estimated start times, and more!

 

IMPORTANT!

I include under each month the sunset time frames from the start to the end of the month.

  • For 3 outfit/location sessions (The Classic) I like to allot time 3 hours before sunset

  • For 4 outfit/location sessions (The Fabulous) I like to allot time 4 hours before sunset

  • For 5 outfit/location sessions (The Ultimate) I like to allot time 5 hours before sunset

This leaves time for if we need to start a little early because it’s overcast, time for the senior to change, time for drive time amongst places, etc. So as an example, say the sunset on your date is at 8pm, if you chose The Fabulous package, you would want to plan your day around being ready to shoot around 4pm. When we plan out the specific details you will know exactly what time we will plan to meet based on your locations/weather, but this is a great rule of thumb to plan your schedule/appointments around for your senior session date!

I always leave some weekday dates open in my schedule for possible weather or illness reschedules or reschedules, but please try to plan your session date around any camps, vacations, school starting, tryouts, etc. :)

For these dates in October, the sun sets around 7:00pm towards the beginning of the month, and 6:20pm towards the end of the month. Refer to the paragraph above to calculate an approximate time your session would begin.

Every year the trees are different due to weather, but typically the leaves start to change around the 2nd-3rd weeks of October

Most Lincoln and Omaha schools have yearbook photos due at the end of October/early November. Some schools do not have yearbook headshots due until much later in the year like December/January. If you want an October date with the beautiful fall vibes but your yearbook photos are due at the end of October/early November, just let me know your yearbook deadline and I will deliver all of the photos that fit in the “yearbook style headshots” look before your full gallery delivery so you can choose and get that submitted on time.
